Gastronomic Walking Tour (2 hours)

The gastronomic walking tour is a fine way to see and ‘taste’ the city. Clients will be accompanied through the town, making stops in local shops and small stands to sample typical foods and wines of the region. Some foods to be enjoyed in this tour are: schiacciata (flat bread), crostini and bruschetta, pecorino cheese, gelato, local pastries. 

Cooking Supply Tour (2 hours)

This tour highlights a few of Florence’s finest cooking supply shops and gourmet food sellers. 

Wine Course (1 hour)

Wine classes focus on Tuscan wines as well as the finest wines of other Italian regions: Piedmont, Sicily, etc. We offer both basic lessons as well as intermediate/advanced classes for connoisseurs. 

Cooking Class (3 hours)

Private cooking classes are available on a daily basis for individuals or small groups. The class consists of a 3 hour hands-on cooking experience . The menu can be proposed by the client who has special interests or he/she may want to select from our special theme menus. The class ends with lunch/dinner on food prepared.

Market Tour (1 hour)  


The market tour brings clients throughout the central produce market where the freshest ingredients are available. The top floor houses all of the finest fresh fruits and vegetables as well as beautiful flowers, while the bottom floor displays a variety of meats, cheese and bread. Local Florentine and restaurateurs meet here in the morning to pick out the best produce. It is a unique experience to see the people and the colors, to smell the fragrances and to take in local culture. Bring your camera you’ll get some great shots! 

Shopping Tour (2 hours) 


The shopping tour includes accompaniment to the finest shopping areas of Florence: via Tornabuoni, via Calzaiuoli, etc. We can also organize excursions to the Prada and Gucci outlets outside Florence. This activity could be either half day or full day. 

Dinner in a Tuscan Home 


If a client chooses a dinner in a private Tuscan home, he/she will be hosted in a home either in Florence or the surrounding areas of Florence (not necessarily in Chianti). Transportation is not included.

 

Field Trip in Chianti (half day) 


Enjoy a ride in the Chianti countryside amongst the olive groves and vineyards.Visit the town of Greve and the famous Falorni delicatessen where you’ll have a tasting of wine and local products.
